By Pastors Eddie and Mikki Lawrence
Our Grace House men met at the Harper Farm in Tennessee on Friday night, October 25, at 6:00 p.m. This event turned out to be a huge success with over 85 men in attendance who gathered under the trees around the firepit where they enjoyed a great time of fellowship. The smell of grilled hamburgers and hotdogs filled the air, and the sounds of laughter could be heard. After the meal, the men quietened their hearts as Pastor Eddie ministered from Philippians 4:19 concerning the riches of glory in Christ Jesus. He illustrated how an acorn was encoded by God to know which was up and which way was down in order to grow and develop. In a similar way, he stated that each man around the fire was also filled with the life of Christ and could access hidden treasures that were already inside them, encoded by the Creator Himself.
The ministry of the word was followed a time of worship led by Pastor Andrew Lawrence. Testimonies were shared by Vic Wilkins concerning his recent ministry to those affected by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina and how the supplies Grace House sent had blessed the people there.
The time together ended with men breaking away in small groups and praying for each other. It was a joy filled and blessed night of fellowship for the men of Grace House. Thanks to all who made it possible including Pastor Derrick Wallace who organized and oversaw the event and to Russell Harper for sharing his farm with us.
