Sr. High Student Ministry (9th-12th grades)
So, what’s going on in Grace House Sr. High? Let me tell you, we have had an amazing past several months! We have had wonderful fellowship, salvations, baptisms, and I couldn’t be prouder of this great group of teens!
We started off the summer with an amazing experience at camp Jackson! Our entire group encountered Jesus in powerful ways and formed strong foundations and relationships to come home and build on.
In July, two of our youth followed Jesus in baptism after their salvation at camp. We had a great time celebrating at the pool with them! In September, two more students received salvation and followed in baptism, and we had a great time celebrating with them at the river side! Most recently we had one of our new students accept Christ and follow in baptism on Wednesday night and we celebrated with the whole church family!
We have had several visitors and new members this summer and fall. I am excited to see the heart of Jesus manifested through our group as they welcome each visitor. Many times, they beat me to it! I received a message from one visitor expressing that they had never been so well received and welcomed by other kids before. I see them all stretching and growing in the Lord and I am excited for what is to come!
This month we are studying the identity of Jesus. What did it look like when He walked the earth? How should it look for us to do what He did each day? The whole earth is groaning....how will we respond? I am excited to explore how this study will change each of us daily. I thank the Lord often for the honor to get to work and grow with this group and serve these children!
We also have a Christmas break trip planned to The Ramp in Hamilton, Alabama.
